I’m chasing the core of myself. . I see deep within me in a place I was afraid to go. . My real spirit . Tied to a crucifix and called a sin. I am magenta, black, blue, purple, orchids. I am not what they decide I am and neither am I what I decide I am .

I am one vessel. I am the shadow that becomes light again. This old Phoenix has started burning through cycles so rapidly that the flame goes out as soon as it is born. I am a pulsar next to a black hole. . Sending out waves that may or may not escape gravity.

I choose to be who I am but I choose this also. I choose to be who you see . I will be both for I can be anything. . .
